Toddler-PreS–Turn the lights down low and get ready to find a bevy of playful ghosts in this rhyming Halloween tale! Each turn of the page brings readers closer to a Halloween party as they explore a series of Halloween scenes including a haunted house, a forest, a witch’s cozy home, and a pumpkin patch. Jaunty rhymes on each spread encourage readers to seek out the ghosts: “Look around the forest—/ Can you find each ghostly friend?/ Be careful not to lose your way/ and come to a dead end.” Spirited sound effects, like “Bubble, wail, croak, boo, howl, shriek, HISS!” add to the fun of a read aloud, and the included UV flashlight reveals a series of ghosts and creeps, sure to delight readers.
