Disney Wish Little Golden Book

Hardcover

Grades Up to Kindergarten
Ages 2–5

This Little Golden Book is based on Disney Wish—in theaters fall 2023!

Walt Disney Animation Studios Wish is set to release Fall 2023, during the Studio’s 100th year. A film that could only come from Disney Animation, the epic animated musical is inspired by the legacy of films from the studio and asks the question: “How did the wishing star, upon which so many characters wished, come to be?” The story, set in Rosas, the kingdom of wishes where wishes can literally come true, follows Asha—an optimist with a sharp wit who cares endlessly about her community. In a moment of desperation, Asha makes an impassioned plea to the stars, which is answered by a cosmic force, a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, they face the most formidable of foes to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. This Little Golden Book retelling of the animated feature film is perfect for children ages 2 to 5, as well as Disney Little Golden Book collectors of all ages!

Little Golden Books enjoy nearly 100% consumer recognition. They feature beloved classics, hot licenses, and new original stories . . . the classics of tomorrow.

Luna Chi

Luna Chi loves to write for kids. She grew up marveling at Pixar films, and when she watched an inspiring documentary on how this animation studio came to be, she bought a one-way ticket across the country to pursue her own storytelling dreams. Luna now lives in Brooklyn, New York, in a tiny brownstone apartment across from a beautifully green park, working as a children’s book author and editor.

Gurihiru is the artistic duo of Chifuyu Sasaki, a penciler and inker, and Naoko Kawano, a colorist. They work on a variety of projects, such as American comic books, character designs for games and animation, and book illustrations. They currently reside in Saitama, Japan.
